As far as I remember clear parts fit perfectly, Bart - you just need to trim the seats a bit. And I suggest constructing the wings-empennage frame completely first and then insert the "fuselage" from the front and propeller and engine from the back - it works well (only some dilligent sanding of the supports is necessary) and you can easily make air duct flush... Here you can find a short built report of the first incarnation of this kit: scalemates.com/press/issue.php?id=9007

As far as I remember, Bart, the fit of the clear parts is very good - but the seats are a bit too wide and need some work to fit inside the cockpit.

I have to following. I also own this kit because I find the plane fascinating. Completely off the mainstream.

Seems like it, but when reading about the plane, the plane was more easy to get of the ground then the project

As far as I remember there is no airscoop (the one that is visible of the top of the engine) represented in this kit... Perhaps you will be willing to scratch build it, Bart... (I did not... I found this out after assembling the kit... 😭 )

Hello Robert, the airscoop is there, I think you mean the one in picture 23?

No, Bart. I mean the one on the upper side of the engine shroud (take a look at the 0:12-0:13 of the video footage)

Remember seeing the Opitca on a British Tv show called "Tomorrows world", one of the markets they were aiming for was police forces as a cheaper alternative to Helicopters

The cockpit looks good! I'm curious, what will she show in primer...
