[Tamiya] Ford Mustang GT4 (Job Log)

I stabbed my finger and it hurts. It is very sharp, so be careful. 

Don't cut. 

I will remove this mold. 

Trimming and washing. 

I painted inside to black for anti subsurface scattering. 

L: Fluorescent yellow.
R: Overcoated in a light yellow. 

Done. 

L: Need cut off.
R: Carbon pattern not printed properly. 

I drew a vector logo to try out a laser engraver. 

I put masking tape on the PET and cut it. 

1st: Stick to outside.
2nd: Stick to inside.
3rd: Remove outside. 

And, I paint with a black and carbon pattern. 

Then I remove it.
But, the edge was not clean. 

Hahaha I'm going to erase everything and use the decals. 

White surfacer (Gloss). 

Gloss clear coated (once) 

L: Momodeling fluorescence yellow (I use this)
R: IPP fluorescence yellow
Maybe I think 'L' is not pigment type. 

Print miss. So I didn't use the little decals. 

Decaling done. 

Various base colors were painted on the small parts. 

'Gloss Black' and 'Gloss Clear' coat. 

Gloss clear coated. (once) 

Compounding done. But paint has been erased. 

Tamiya Pannel Line Accent. 

Problems occurred when removing the tape after masking and painting only the erased areas. 

Heavy trouble.... 

When I carefully removed the decal film, the film was intact and only the ink was attached to the masking tape. 

Inevitably, I have to make letters with stencils. 

This time, I masked the decal as carefully as possible so that it doesn't fall off again. 

I think the result is quite satisfactory. 

Gloss coated and polished(rough). 

Masking... 

Done. 

Black surfacer. 

Carbon pattern using stockings. 

Partial painting with a brush. 

I was worried that the decal would come off again if I masked it, so I painted the window frame with a brush. 

Ready to assemble. 

The interior decals are from Tamiya. 

I used a silver foil sticker from GunPla.

Tires and windshield. (Indycals)

Painted with 'Vallejo Mecha Black Primer'.

I used Hasegawa 'White Finish' for the inside of the headlamps, which should be painted white. 

I cut the metal sticker included with the Tamiya case and apply mirror. 

Attach everything that needs to be attached inside the shell... 

And after joining the upper and lower plates, I attached the under cowl. 

Finally, attach the rest of the exterior parts and done.
