Spent the morning failing to mix a color of orange that I liked. Went to the local hobby shop, and picked up a different color of orange... and there are the results. I think looks alright. I need to let that set, then it will be time for assembly, decals (haven't decided if I am going to use any yet), post-shading, and then high-lights and top-coat. I also have some additional detail painting to work on while this sets.

Still no head, I am waiting on some paint so I can finish the eye. Painting is done. It has a topcoat and is pretty much. Only thing left at this point is weathering. I will start that as soon as the head is done and I have it fully assembled.

Ok! Finally there is a head on this thing. I have it as done as it will get right now. I think it looks pretty good, I was going to go nuts with some weathering at this point, but I can't make up my mind.

With the head on its place it looks really cool like its original mecha. The original mecha designer probably add the head with the monoeye just to make the Mobile Worker's connection to Zaku more obvious. This still has that glass framed cockpit so this can appear convincing even without the head. This kit has so many possibilities 😄
