Heinkel He 162B-4 Swedish markings

The interior is pretty close to the initial 2022 AZ model kit, but the seat is different. The kit also contains more cockpit parts for a two-seater variant. Unfortunately the reflector sight is missing. 

Interior painted and reflector sight scratchbuilt. 

 

I wanted to thin the engine valve bank. 

 

Dry-fitting engine and gluing its rear support. 

This way I get the artistically pleasant v-angle for wings. 

Lots of filling for wings. 

Wing gaps filled with Milliput and smoothed with isopropanol. 

Using my new aqueous black surfacer 1000 and sanded uneven parts. 

Preshading
 

Salamander needs arrows, so I painted them. 

Very simple painting. 

Decals applied 

Weathering done and landing gears glued in place.  

JATO-rockets added and matt varnish
