Carrying on the build of the big kits from my stash to make some room on the shelf 😄 Next up is the Revell Shuttle Tydirium "40th Anniversary version".
It's a poor kit! Definitely showing it's EasyKit heritage as the fit on it is poor so the only difference seems to be that you need to paint it first. The paints (and poster) that came in the box were soon consigned to the bin and I primed the kit with Mig One-Shot White then sprayed with Vallejo White-Grey (71.119) as the base colour with Black-Grey (71.055) and Light Grey (71.050) were the main other two colours used.
You do need to weight down the back (20g) so, if you do build this kit (which I wouldn't recommend for an experienced builder) then make sure you get some when you get the kit if you don't already have some, otherwise it'll just sit on it's nose.
The windscreen was sprayed with Tamiya Smoke to give it a tinted but transparent finish.
