Cool project. I have that kit and keep putting it off. You plan to use the kit markings? They are not the best Academy has to offer.

I will use the kits decals. I have bad luck with decals. So no point buying more if I'm gonna screw them up.

It's a great kit n' the kit that was my return to the hobby eight years ago. It was also the kit that made me hate Academy's decals with a passion from then on...

Academy are good kits for the price. Some of the decals have a lot to be desired. Yet some of their kits have Cartograf decals. Some have told me that some of the new Academy decals are OK.
