Easy and straightforward build since most things snap or snug fit making glue sometimes unnecessary. The challenge, I suppose, is in painting tiny details but it's not that hard with a small brush, patience, and a toothpick to rub away mistakes.

Hopefully it comes with all the interesting sea creatures that are on the box top.

Tolerances are very high on this model which makes for stress-free assembly. The top decals are extraordinarily well designed to match the surface perfectly.

You're right, those decals look well made, but thick. I have often struggled with Hasegawa and Tamiya decals, even with the strongest setting solutions, they sometimes refuse to conform to surface details.

Yes, @John G, I'm on my 5th application of Mark Fit and I think I've reached max decal relaxation which isn't quite enough to conform to the surface details. I'll accept the situation soon enough and take this model on the home stretch.

The propeller looks very nice and sharp, is the propeller piece an original kit part?
