Oskar R6

Based on what paints I have and what would be believable. This is not as planned as my previous Sternail.


 

Very nice resin parts. Added steel wire parts and very thin layer of Surfacer to increase adhesion. 

Black base is good base. Some fast repairs on the head. 

Some shading with grey. 

Camo is coming. 

Improvised camo before chipping. 

Chipping done. Next would be the details. 

Decals are in. Most texts are from old Ju-290 kit so they are nicely readable. 

The kit has only two original decals: a ghost and a giraffe. 

Vinyl cords were pretty tricky to add, but it will do now. Weathering is going on. 

Motivational assembly. Oskar is waiting rest of the weathering and a platform. 

 

I'm waiting for more weathering stuff to come from mail. In the mean time I made a pad for Oskar. 

It is now ready! I had to make an appropriate platform with one hit AFS. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

AFS took a critical hit.
