StuG 40 Build

These are the parts.... 

Lower hull and sides joined. 

Upper hull added 

You can't win any battles with a solid barrel 

Drilled out the barrel. I have no clue wether the size is in scale. 

Added some parts to the rear of the lower hull 

Added parts to the top of the rear. 

Dry fit of the barrel to the..... other bit? 

Added some bits to the front of the turret. Dry fit of the gun assembly. 

Added the cupola and the supports for the schürzen 

Painted A.Mig-011 Dunkelgelb. 

First time ever airbrushing camouflage. Decided to do it unmasked as well. Learn it the hard way. 😉 

The back end. Green is A.Mig-001 Olivegrün. Only the red remains to be done.... 

Added the A.Mig-014 Rotbraun. 

I'm having trouble to get the paint thinned well. The green was too thick, the red a bit too thin. 

Just keep trying to get the right paint:thinner ratio. 

It still looks .... nice? 

Glued the barrel on. Learned the other day that Ammo paint actually are Satin. So the shine is supposed to be here. Will be fixed with a simple matt coat 😉
