As I'm basically an old man now, some old man modelling. 1/24 ancient 80s Takara VOTOMS Scopedog, updated by Wave. The legs and feet I'm happy with, but I'm adding card to the bottom of the body, to raise its waist, and I'll be shortening the arms slightly too.

Rusty old death tub. Love the fact that VOTOMS AT's are basically futuristic Sherman Tanks, and as vulnerable as them. Death traps.

Coming along nice and rustily, finally getting this done after ten years in the box. Wish I'd picked up more 1/24 VOTOMS kits when I had the chance, luckily I've got two 1/20's and about eleven 1/35 AT's to still make.

That weathering/rust looks amazing.

Getting there, Rusty old one man tank look. This is just the first layer of paint on the primer. Filled up the voids on top of the knees, started to add the arms, cast texture made with putty on the shoulder pads. Finished inside of cockpit lid. Old school fun.

Not a fat lot done today really. Built and slightly shortened both arms, made the hands, gun. Made so the right hand has proper gun finger control. Waiting for parts to dry.

Melquian Drop Forces test paint. Going for a beaten up look. Trying to do it as fast as possible, and not go over the top, I've got a lot of other stuff to make.

Moving slowly down the 1/24 WAVE/Takara Scopedogs chassis. Starting to look quite good. The slight height boost from added plastic card, makes it look better proportioned, quite pleased with that.

That's enough for today, after a few days off, where I'm at now. It's getting to the standard I want. Lots more to do, washes, chips, scratches, oil, soot and general rusty weathering.

Looks Good 👍👍
The rest will come....all takes time.
Reminds me of a kit l won as a kid in a drawing competition on holiday, l was bit to young to have skills to build it.
Nice model 👌

And, that's it for this one, I will at some point come back add markings and super weather it, but I want to move on to other stuff now. Gun and RoundMover Space Backpack done.
