Nothing super interesting - I have a number of saved searches on E-bay for stuff I'd like but haven't found anywhere. One of them was for "udet flamingo model kit". I woke up one morning and had an e-mail saying there was a hit on that search, clicked on the link and there was the kit, being sold by someone in France, and it had a "Buy Now" price that seemed reasonable to me. I basically bought it on the spot! Looks a nice kit but it has clearly been in storage somewhere for a while given what looks like mould spots on the top of the box (which you can see on the scan of the box top I used to add the kit to the database).
I highly recommend the saved search function on E-bay - I've found a few things that way. Once its in there and someone adds an item that fits the search criteria you get a notification. I generally set the Item Location function to Worldwide rather than Australia Only to get a wider search.
