I've been curious about this. Someone gave me one of these kits, maybe even the same one.

Im enjoying this so far. Its like a 3D puzzle that has some instructions, but they are vague. I think Ive messed a couple things up, but it wont be a flyer for this first one. Next up is tissue, so that will be interesting. Im not totally sure how well acrylic paint is going to stick to the tissue once its on.

I built some simple ones when I was a kid, not from kits. I recall misting water to remove wrinkles in the tissue, and I think I painted them with orange pactra dope.
