March 8, 2015Exhaust was painted with Mr. Metal color (iron and dark iron) buffables, and than weathered with some tamiya pigments20
March 8, 2015The cannons are the Master ones, if you want them to last and have a perfect shape, is a must-to-have21
March 8, 2015The mirror in the top of the canopy cames from Italeri kit, there are 2 tipes of them over there, so I used the spare one from a version that I will not build22
March 8, 2015The light behind the mast I just painted silver23
March 8, 2015Elevators posed down..., definitively will be training to improve and use this more often in the future, I love the result!24
March 8, 2015I left the patches for the machine guns closed as it was ready to go for the next mission25
March 8, 2015The aerial cable are from coper wire 0,05 found in one eletric repair store, but i think I should had painted with one lighter shade, one dark gray instead of the black, could had looked not so strong...26
March 8, 2015Closer look to the exaust stains and chipping effect, the pigments used are from Tamiya weathering master, sets A and B27
March 8, 2015The main camo was painted with Tamiya acrylics, XF-80, SF-81, XF-82 , the sky/duck egg in the spinner and rear fuselage are from Revell Aqua color28
March 8, 2015Chipping was carried out wigh prismacolor pencil and revell aqua color acrylics silver 90 in some poits to get deaper efect29
March 8, 2015weathering done with Tamiya panel line accent (dark brown and black) and tamiya weathering master pigments30
March 8, 201531
March 8, 2015I lost the antenna mast and I had to scrach building it with styrene32
March 8, 2015The canopy is not briliang and it´s thikness and magnifying efect hide the interior detail, and it can´t be displayed opened, so it is pointless to use photoetch33
March 8, 2015The light under the wing was just one empty hole, after paint it I cuted and shaped one small acetate in that place. the downside of this kit though is the misshape of this area, were is the distinctive "inverted gull wing" Revell?34
March 8, 2015The decals responded very well to Revell setting solution and looks like painted in the complicaded surface, no bubles and all rivets are there, thumbs up for Revell35
March 8, 201536
March 8, 2015little bit of photoshop37
March 8, 201538
March 8, 2015The shape of the intakes doesn´t look very accurate in the Revell kit, but I´ll live with this one, soon I will do the Italeri one that looks more realistic, And by the way, they have the inverted gull wing...
