February 18, 2014This actually turned out very well, I'm very happy with it, but the picture doesn't do it justice. Barely visible in the final build though4

April 6, 2014Loading in the pilot9
April 6, 2014In order to secure the cockpit, I needed to add some spare sprue as anchors. Nothing really holds it in otherwise.10
April 6, 2014Another fit issue, the gun covers on one side are completely misshapen11
April 6, 2014But its nothing a little putty can't fix12
April 6, 2014The tail landing gear piece is equally odd, leaving a big gaping hole into the fuselage.13
April 11, 2014Everything built, ready to begin painting14
April 11, 2014The few extra pieces that need to be primed with the body15
April 18, 2014First coat of paint. The blue I used (MM Insignia Blue) is a little darker than I'd like, so tomorrow, I'm going to pick up something lighter and try again16
April 19, 2014Very happy with how the paint job turned out17
April 19, 2014I redid all the blue with Cobalt Blue, which I like much better.18
April 20, 2014Assembly complete, and all painting done19
April 20, 2014build/paint complete, decals next20
